Road safety in Salford
What's the problem? Around 80 people are killed
or seriously injured on Salford's roads every year and of these
around 23 are children. The majority of these injuries are life
changing. Many crashes occur in residential areas of the city
and inappropriate speed is the major cause of these crashes. See
how Salford is leading efforts to reduce the number of road casualties
here.
The 27th February 2007 sees the introduction of tougher penalties....see
here for more information
The Highway Code
When was the last time you read the Highway Code?
Many of the rules in the Code are legal requirements, and if you
disobey these rules you are committing a criminal offence. Find
